SARVA DARSHAN DURING THE KUMBH MELA: MILLIONS OF LIVES TRANSFORMED BY ONE TOUCH
“I’ll take care…”; “Love you” ; “Be Blissful!”
These are the words told by The Avatar, as the Cosmic Father and as the emperor of the Kailaasa Paramparagatha Mahanirvani Peetham (oldest apex body of Hinduism) to 1 lakh people every day during the Simhasth Kumbh Mela festival in Ujjain, Central India from April 15 — May 28, 2016. Kalpataru Darshan is an opportunity for the masses to come to the breathing space of The Avatar and ask for any boon or blessing which their heart desires, or confide in Him as their spiritual guide and Master and receive the spiritual initiation through the Divine touch. People waited in winding lines for 10 long hours in the thick heat of Central India for one individual touch from Him.
Men, women and children from rural India, who reverehold His Divine Holiness as their very own God and as the single hope for their lives, sought out the opportunity to be relieved from their life’s grievances and experience have the touch of The Divine. It is a sacred tradition called the “Guru-Shishya Sampradaya”, or the relationship between Guru and Disciple. Sanatana Hindu Dharma is the tradition which is in the very blood of each and every person who sought out the darshan of His Divine Holiness during the Simhasth Kumbh Mela. In this tradition, a core, highly-revered concept is “Guru is God”. The Gguru is the single most important figure in Sanatana Hindu Dharma, as the Guru takes up the divine responsibility for the enlightenment of humankind. For centuries, the Science of Enlightenment (which is now rapidly massively spreading across the world) was preserved and protected because of the Gurus. This is the Science and tradition which His Divine Holiness is reviving and making available to the masses once again.
Every day, His Divine Holiness sat for public darshan (public appearance) for 8–10 hours at a stretch, without once leaving for a break. He listened to the cries, the grievances and the pain of the people who traveled from all over India just for a chance to see Him and receive His blessings. He gave them powerful cognitions from the Truths of Sanatana Hindu Dharma and gave them hope for their lives. He guided them through their spiritual life, improving their quality of life in manifold ways. Through His teachings, the fear and anger people face in their lives was relieved and the chronic illness are healed entirely from their root cause. It was His dedication and love for serving the causing of enlightening humanity which attracted millions to the camp. By the end of the 48-day celebration which was the Kumbh Mela, His Divine Holiness touched the lives of at least 10 million people. During this 48-day period, the enlightenment ecosystem that was created inside the Kumbh Ghat was fortified by the presence of His Divine Holiness, His powerful spiritual initiations, meditation programs and ritualistic worship routines.
During the period from 1978–2000, prior to establishment of the worldwide mission,a number of Enlightened Beings, Mystics and Siddhas (Enlightened Beings who radiate the enlightenment ecosystem and guide people through spiritual powers) were blessed to play their unique roles in the young Avatar’s leela (Divine play) of disciple-hood, as His Guru. They learned from their incredible student, mentoring and guiding Him with loving reverence, immortalizing themselves in Paramashiva’s own eternally living Purana (Hindu History), the deathless epic of His incarnation.
His Divine Holiness affirms the importance of His own gurus in His life as He recalls, “For me, my gurus have no other work other than me. During the whole day, I am there for them and they are there for me. Constantly they went on initiating me. When so much power was given, initially I started applying it in my life here and there. Within few times of applying all these powerful cognitions, ALL insecurities and fears about life has just melted down. The contact between me and life has become more When the contact between you and life is only like a needle size, you are depressed. When the contact between you and life starts expanding, you will start feeling more homely with life, more respectful for life.”
Included are two articles citing the magnificence of the presence of His Divine Holiness in the Simhasth Kumbh Mela. Deccan Chronicle headlines read, “Simhasth Main Attraction: Nithyananda Peetham” The Free Press Journal wrote, “Swami Nithyananda brings holy city to a stand still!”
